Terms of Use

Pedro (the "Service"), reachable at askpedro.app, chat.askpedro.app, and over iMessage, Slack, and Linear, is owned and operated by Netcetera ("Company," "us," "our," or "we").

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Service. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current, and you are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. If you connect a third-party account (Google, Apple, Slack, Linear, or apps connected via Composio), you are responsible for complying with that third party's own terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account as described in Section 6.

2. Access to the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not: license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, or commercially exploit the Service; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract its source code; use the Service to build a competing product; or access the Service through automated means other than the interfaces we provide.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We have no obligation to provide ongoing support. All intellectual property rights in the Service belong to Company or its licensors; these Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

3. The AI Assistant

Pedro is an AI-powered personal assistant. It can take actions on your behalf when you connect third-party accounts (for example, sending email, managing your calendar, or posting to Slack) via Composio or Vercel Connect. You are responsible for reviewing and approving actions the assistant proposes, and for the consequences of actions taken through accounts you have connected. The assistant's responses are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes — do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

4. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services you choose to connect (including Google, Slack, Linear, Canvas, and other apps via Composio), and relies on infrastructure providers (including Anthropic, Vercel, Turso, Resend, Cloudflare, and Sendblue) to operate. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or availability. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

6. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including if we believe you have violated these Terms, without liability to you. Sections 2 through 9 survive termination.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS IS CAPPED AT THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

9. General

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the competent courts of Estonia. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Company regarding the Service.
